Important rules

Your Brokerage Connection
Make sure your brokerage account stays connected to PeakBot.

Monitoring Your Account
Even though trades are automated, please check for rejected or failed trades and sufficient buying power, and any alerts from your broker.

Updating Ticker List
If BTF changes tickers we'll try to let you know as soon as possible, but it's your job to make sure your setup reflects those changes.

  • 1 unit means your trade size will match the lead trader's quantity exactly
  • 1 unit = $5,000, but this does not mean each ticker will trade with $5,000. i.e. if the lead trader takes a $1,000 trade on SPY, your account will take a $1,000 trade on SPY, but you are authorizing up to $5,000 per ticker
  • Amount traded across all tickers will never exceed lead trader's account balance

BTF Challenge Participation Agreement

Please review the following terms carefully. By joining the BTF CopyTrading Challenge, you agree to all of the rules and disclaimers outlined below. Participation implies full legal and financial responsibility on your part. BTF will be referred to as "Leader" in this agreement.

1. Challenge Completion Criteria

This challenge ends only when the leader's account doubles from $5,000 to $10,000. Your personal results do not affect the challenge duration. Even if your account grows faster or slower, the challenge continues until BTF's target is reached.

2. Trader of Record Acknowledgment

You are the legal owner and trader of your brokerage account. All trades are placed in your name. You assume full responsibility for any profits, losses, tax implications, or margin requirements associated with your account activity.

3. Brokerage Settings

It is your responsibility to ensure that your brokerage account is properly set up. You must have the correct options level to trade the same strategy as the leader, margin, and sufficient buying power.

4. Connection Maintenance

You are solely responsible for maintaining an active, functional connection between your brokerage account and the trading automation system (e.g., via PeakBot). Missed or rejected trades due to connectivity issues, login errors, or brokerage restrictions are your responsibility.

5. Strategy Updates and Manual Maintenance

If the leader updates tickers, it is your responsibility to ensure your account setup is kept current. We will attempt to provide notices where appropriate, but we are not liable for any missed updates or resulting issues.

6. No Guarantees & Risk Disclaimer

Trading involves risk. You may lose some or all of the money in your account. There are no guaranteed returns. You understand and accept that the leader may underperform, lose value, or result in complete loss of your investment. The past results that you have seen are not indicative of future performance. You acknowledge that this challenge involves active trading and market volatility, and you are participating with full awareness of the financial risks involved.

7. Limitation of Liability

The leader, PeakBot, and any associated parties are not responsible for:

  • Any financial losses, including partial or total account losses
  • Rejected, delayed, or failed orders
  • Technical issues related to brokerages, platforms, or your device
  • Your misunderstanding of how the system operates

  • Have read and understood all terms in this agreement
  • Are fully responsible for the use of your own trading account
  • Acknowledge that no one involved guarantees any specific outcome
